KALAME IMAME MUBIN PART - 1
Recording - 4
Recording - 4
Farman No - 43 to 56.
Haq Mawlana Dhani Salamat Datar Sarkar Aga Sultan Muhammad Shah Imam has made the following Farman:
(106) You should be very friendly with din and take utmost care of your din.
One, whose heart is attached to my heart, acts according to my Farman.
If you get familiarize with your din more than the worldly work, then your imaan will benefit you.
Your din is Darveshi. You also are darvesh and momin. You yourself must reflect and become a staunch Haqiqati.
(107) Do not bind heart to money. Do not be happy even if you earn plenty of money. Do not regret if hard-earned money is lost; do not grieve about it. When you have amassed wealth, do not be overjoyed. God forbid, if someone’s son passes away, he still should not grieve.
Your din is ever-living (hayaat).
When you recite Dua, you take my name. At that time, I am present with you. Do not consider me as being distant from you at all. When your love is with me, then I am always with you. When you say Dua with love for me, I am present with you. Do not consider me as being distant. As many times my name is remembered that time I am present in your heart. I am not far from you at all.
(108) f you love me a little, I will love you a hundredfold more. I love you Jamat, immensely. It is the deepest wish of my heart that you may prosper in the world and in the akhirat.
If you are a momin, become lover of God.
The Haqiqatis love is not for children, wife, or money; rather, it is for God.
There are some among you who recite Ginans but do not understand its purpose (maksad). They do not know the meaning of Ginan. One who has no understanding is like an animal.
(109) In one way, an insaan is like an animal. As an insaan eats, drinks, and screams, an animal can also do the same.
One who does not think for God and din is like an animal, whereas a Haqiqati momin reflects deeply in the heart.
The education of the din must not be taken from anyone except the Ismaili brother-of-faith.
Just like the Jews, the Christians, the Sunnis, the Shias, the Hindus, etc., who learn their religion only from their own people.
(110) Pir Sadardin was intelligent, wise, truthful, and had a clean conscience (batin).
Anyone who is a Khoja will say that Pir Sadardin has made the Khojas. Pir Sadardin too was a brother-in-faith of you, the Khojas. You also strive and become like that of Pir Sadardin.
You just do as Pir Sadardin strived to do. If you strive to do as done by him, you too will become like that of Pir Sadardin. That you come to Jamatkhana to say the Dua can not be considered a big effort; it is rather a very easy task.
A Haqiqati, when understands the meaning of attaining communion with God, immediately reaches Marifat.
Pir Sadardin was close to God, he believed God to be close to him. He was convinced: "I am close to God." He did not ever commit an evil act.
Pir Sadardin even when alone would think: “God is by me!” This is true also for the one who thinks God to be ever-present.
(111) All deeds of the man, who is a momin, should be pure. The thoughts (khyaal), concept (vichaar) and conscience (batin) of a momin all must be pure. This is essential for a momin.
You must understand properly the facts about your religion. Those who do know, they must learn even more. Those who have not learnt, they must learn. If you will read and listen, you will come to know about it. But if you will not read nor listen, how would you know about the merits of the Ismaili din?
(112) Mawlana Rumi first thought about himself: "Earlier, l was a stone; later on, I was created a tree, and from that, I have evolved into a human being (insaan). From a human being, what shall I become, hence?" He used to think about it. You also must think about what you will become from a human being! Perform such deeds and have such thoughts that you attain the status higher than that of the human being.
When you read the books of knowledge (ilm) and listen to them, you should think about what is being said in it. You must act according to that.
"The lamp of Allah's Noor is within you; it is in your hands. I am saying this in symbolic terms. That lamp is always in all of you. You should see it. You should ask it. If you will not ask it, then how would you know?"
(113) The business of a momin is also a momin's Ibadat.
A momin when goes to sleep at night thinks: “Rising early, I will do good deeds.” When a momin goes to sleep with such good thoughts, then his sleep is also counted in Ibadat.
But for a foolish-unaware (nadaan-gafal) person, even his sleeping will be counted a sin. Such an unaware (gafal) person, as he goes to sleep, will think: “I accumulate money, throw out my wife who has grown older and marry another younger-one, get big mansions built, increase my reputation in town, get counted as a big person in town and everybody comes to me for an advice.” This way, he will think about many a matter. When one goes to sleep thinking like that, then even his sleeping is counted a sin.
Now, think! What is the difference between good and evil?
You go to sleep with such thoughts that your sleep also gets counted in Bandgi!
(115) Do not speak lie. Speaking lie is prohibited in my din.
(116) You must understand everything what is good and what is evil! God is watching everything. Verily! God is existent. For instance, God testifies in your heart. When a man is committing an evil act, God reprimands him about that evil act. Even after knowing that, if a man commits the evil act, then God leaves him. At first, God reprimands him about the good and evil deed. If there were no God, then who would reprimand him?
After listening to my Farmans, even if one person acts according to them, that will be enough for me.
Perform such acts by which you can rise even higher than the angels.
By just striking your head, God will not become closer to you. But if you perform good deeds, then surely, God will become closer to you.
Inshallah! If you act upon My Farmans, you will benefit.
(117) Your din is exalted, meaning excellent and true. from today, but it has been eminent since primordial time. Pir Sadardin discovered this din and assigned it to you. It is obligatory for you to safeguard it.
You should become like me.
I have given you diamonds, rubies, and gems. But you do not recognize them and throw them away; this brings you a great loss. Therefore, keep them properly secured. I have opened a bagful of gems in front of you; properly guard them.
Your faith (mazhab) is very superior. Khanavadan.
(122) Commit virtuous deeds like angels, so that the people may say, “The murids of the Aga Khan are like the angels.
You should become like a diamond, so that you shine even if kept in the dark.
(126) There are two categories in a human being.
One is that with an animal facet.
Another is that with an angelic facet.
Whether to become an animal (hewan) or an angel (malayak) is in man's own hands!
It is incumbent on an intelligent man to follow the righteous path and attain the status of an angel (malayak).
If a man is alive and is given money in his lifetime to do business, it's fine if there is a profit; however, if there is a loss, then all his effort goes in vain! I do not really mean it for business, but for the benefit of the life hereafter (akhirat).
I am the Marde Dervish; and so I am making true (haq) Farmans to you.
(127) You will realize the importance of my Farmans on the Day of Judgment. You may not realize it in this world; everything will be clear there.
Those with the black face and those with the bright face will be distinguished there. The ones with the black face would say: "Had we done good deeds (amaal), it would have been better!"
The first thing for a momin to do is to forsake the animal instinct. Animal instinct is but evil.
If you wish to become an angel, give up casting evil eye (badnazar).
When one desists from casting evil-eye, only then, does the heart remain secure!
If the heart remains secure, the imaan (faith) will remain secure.
All of you must think, day and night, that the imaani group is pure and ‘Imaan is Noor’!
If there is impurity, imaan will not evolve. If there is doubt, sin will breed in the heart; and in the impure heart, doubt will develop!
(128) It is your duty to obey with faith (imaan) the Farmans of the Imam of the Time.
As I am meeting you now, likewise, I will meet you on the Day of Judgment (akhirat) too.
Do not commit any act for which you will have to regret on the Day of Judgment.
(129) It is obligatory for all of you to convey matters of religion to one another. If you do not do so, it will be a sin. If you know the truth (haq) but do not share it with others, it will be a sin for you.
It is obligatory for all Jamat to think about the din and act accordingly. Think! For what cause has God created you? When you die, what explanation will you give on the Day of Judgment? Where will you run away, then? There is no jungle there from where you can escape unharmed.
Where are you today? Where will you be hereafter? Where were you earlier?
You are not animals like cows or bullocks; you are human beings!!
Think! How were you in the womb of your mother? In what state was your soul? What were you doing, then? You are lost in illusion all the time.
Out of twenty four hours in a day, it is incumbent on you to spend two, three, four hours practising your din. It is also incumbent on you to sit back and spend two hours thinking of your din. What you ought to do for yourselves, think of it! Think, and bring out its meaning.
If you select colors for a child, it will like red and green and will throw away the colors if they are bad. In the same way, your din is like a diamond (almaas).
What diamond (almaas) is and what glass is, I know very well. Just as a child toys with the world by putting aside the din, I understand it all.
(130) Allah's Noor is the Light!
When a man (insaan) binds his thoughts (khyaal) with God, he becomes an angel (firashta).
Earlier, man was a stone; from that, he became a tree, then, an animal and then, a monkey. After that, he became a human being. Now, man can become an angel (firashta), can rise still higher. He can again become even an animal, even a stone. This is all in one's own hands. This matter is not dependent on fate.
(131) Give up arrogance and love for the world, and your heart will get purified.
Obeying the Farmans is for your own good.
Everyone in the village should always go to Jamatkhana, recite the Ginans, reflect on them, arrange the congregation (majlis), and interpret the meanings of the Ginans and become informed of them.
The intelligent ones should think and by acting upon My Farmans must bring out their meaning. Foolish (nadaan) are the ones who leave aside my Farmans (sukhan) and go astray!
The purpose (maqsad) of man is to attain the abode of origin (asal maka'n). If you will remain unaware (gafal) in the practice of the din, you will not attain it; rather, you will become hewan and will attain the state of hewan.
For how many years will you remain unaware (gafal)? If you keep your din strong, you may attain the abode of origin (asal makan)!
If you wish to go from one village to another, then only by getting up and starting to walk will you be able to reach there. If you perform Ibadat of God all the time, you will attain that abode.
(132) One day, Hazrat Isa (A.S.)was passing through the woods. His disciples were with him. On the way, he came across a tiger, but he kept moving ahead. Wayside, on seeing an animal dead, Hazrat Isa prayed for it and brought it to life.
After some days, a man came across his way. On seeing him, Hazrat Isa ran away from there and went home taking the other route. His disciples asked him, "Saheb, you did not fear the tiger, but what made you fear that man to run away from him?"
Hazrat Isa replied, "That man was a fool, ignorant (nadaan) person. He had a black heart. My Farmans bring those to life who are dead, but my Farmans do not affect a nadaan person. Everyone obeys my Farmans, but a nadaan foolish does not obey my Farmans. Hence, I ran away."
With reference to this, Hazrat Imam said:
“A ignorant (nadaan) person is an enemy of the din. One who does not take the Farmans into consideration is a fool, an ignorant person. One who does not listen to the Farmans is ignorant.
(133) Imaan is a unique ornament.
You do not understand it now, but when you will die the real worth of the benefit will be known. It cannot be known until one recognizes the value of a gem. When you will die, it will be known.
Get informed of and think of the Farmans that have been made.
You, the Jamat, too are my disciples. All disciples of the Prophet had forsaken their household. To migrate with the Prophet, they abandoned their household in Makkah, they left their families, and giving up everything they came to Hazrat Ali in Madina and reported to the Prophet. You should also act upon the Farmans in the same manner.
Man is a traveller in the world. Your real home is in the life hereafter (akhirat).
The world is like that of an immoral woman; it must be rid of quickly. If a man attaches his heart to such a woman, what will he gain?
(134) If you do Ibadat-Bandgi but have no imaan, then what benefit can you get?
I say this for you, nothing is for me. If you will accept, you will benefit. If not, you will lose. Everything is in your hands.
If the land is tilled, food can grow and, only then, one can benefit! If it is not tilled, what benefit can one gain?
If Ibadat is not practised, then what's the use? Whether such people exist or not makes no difference!
You have the key in your hands; now to open it or not, the choice is yours! However, I am striving and showing you the path.
You are lost in a slumber; therefore, you cannot hear the sound of cannons. Just as a person is awakened from a deep sleep, I am awakening you the same way: Wake up! Get engrossed in Ibadat. Do not forget, ibadat at 3 o'clock is most rewarding indeed!
(135) After listening, if you act upon my Farmans, your imaan will remain secure; you will be enlightened in the world.
Think! If a man had not committed the satanic act, he would not have come out from the abode of origin (asal makan). God expelled him from asal makan.
Your abode of origin (asal makan) is very great indeed, but now it is very far away.
The one with the real intellect will reflect much on: "From where did I come into this prison?"
For a momin, the world is a prison! For you, the world is a prison! For me, too, life is but a prison!!
I am weary of the world. I repeat that I am weary of it. I need to be in asal makan. You too need to be in asal makan.
When you will perform ibadat with secured imaan, you will attain the exalted status.
What status can be greater than that of the abode of origin (asal makan)? If you work hard, you will reach that abode. By getting into a two-horse carriage, you will not reach it: but by walking on foot, by perspiring, you will reach it.
There is one big minaret; when you ascend it, you will attain asal makan. When you strive for it, you will attain the abode on-High. That is the place of your origin!
If you will nurse enmity in your heart, if you will have love for the world in your heart, then you will not attain that abode.
(136) Whether it is a copper or gold can be confirmed only on testing them. The same is true also for the man. If your heart is impure, you will not attain that abode.
How great is your abode of origin! Of that you are quite ignorant.
Salman Farsi, ahlal-bayt, was just like you. Prophet used to say that Salman was as good as that of ahlal- bayt. He attained his abode of origin (asal makan). Salman Farsi too was a man like you. You also perform ibadat and become like that of Salman Farsi. If you perform Ibadat, you can become like that of Pir Sadardin.
Jewellery (zaveraat) is there indeed, but it is in a safe which is locked. You do not know that, others do not know that either.
Take good care of yourselves and strengthen your imaan.
If you do not have money, don't give it; but practise Ibadat. The responsibility of practising Ibadat is equal on both - the rich and the poor.
There is much benefit for the one who remains engrossed in imaan.
Put the wealth of the whole world on one side and ‘Ibadat’ on the other; such is the mighty weight of Ibadat!
You are momin. Each day, become more and more virtuous. There are a thousand steps in the way of the din; if you climb a hundred steps, then what will be gained?
If you remain busy in playing, day and night, then what will be gained?
(137) Those who are hypocrites (munafik) will not pay heed to my Farman.
(138) Your din is superior to gold, diamonds, and gems.
Consider My Farman as the gems.
(138) A momin does not grieve over any loss suffered in the world.
Do not mourn, even if your son passes away.
A momin should not feel sad over losing anything in this world. This is trust in faith (din) and the sign of imaan.
(139) Stay away from the zahiri and batini Satan.
Your din is such that, if you act upon it, you can become like a firashta and a malayak, and your soul may become pure.
God’s Noor is within your heart, but when you follow the din properly then God’s Noor will manifest in your heart.
Live according to what is said in Ginans and Farmans. Read those books thoroughly, interpret their meanings, and act upon them.
(140) Al-Hamdulillah! Those who perform virtuous acts will have white faces.
You are my murids. I hope your faces remain white forever in the akhirat.
(141) Once, Prophet Musa went to Kohe Toor. The people of Bani Israel were the murids of Prophet Musa. When Prophet Musa went to Kohe Toor, in his absence, the people of Bani Israel designated a calf in the place of Prophet Musa and gave the cow the place of God; and started kissing the calf’s feet. It was a cow, not the face of a man (insaan).
I see you in the same condition. I see you as Bani Israel.
(142) You must become like the Prophet and Salman Faras.
The condition of a few companions of the Prophet was like yours.
There are some people among you who are like Amru Aas; who do not obey the Farmans of the Imam.
There are people like Muawiya who have existed in the past.
Al-Hamdulillah, there are so many momins among you whose trust (itekad) is pure.
The Farman of the Imam of the Time must be followed.
It will not be beneficial if you follow the Farmans of the past Imams and do not follow the Farman when I, the present Imam, am here.
(143) Man’s courage is required in the path of the din.
There were many warriors who were highly respected in the eyes of Murtaza Ali. They used to ask Him, “Pray for us, so that we may achieve victory.” On that occasion, Murtaza Ali used to say, “Victory is not achieved in this manner. Victory requires three things:
First: Great courage Second: Sharp sword Third: God’s blessings
(144) If one lacks courage and does not possess a good sword, yet asks for God’s blessings, how can one expect to receive blessings? How can God's blessings descend upon someone who is without courage? This is in the hands of humans.
Al-Hamdulillah! You are all momins. You should remain vigilant and strive to become more righteous each day. For example, be like Salmaan.
For the sake of din, forsake children, life and wealth. By doing so, you will become like a diamond (almaas). If you do not act in this manner, you will become like a glass.
No matter how much you clean glass (mirror), it will not transform into a diamond (almaas).
Ya Ali Madad
