Introduction of Nasir Khusraw's Philosophy

Points one must keep in mind when studying the works of Nasir Khusraw.
Our religion is based upon the Farmans of the Imam.
"Those who respect the Farmans of the Murshid are great, and that is in fact the true meaning of the din."

God uttered the word (Kalima - The God's word- the Amr) “Kun” (Be) which means Command, and the entire Creation came into existence, and the Creation is continuous to this day.
From this, we can understand the immense importance of the Amr (farman).

"You compare My Farmans with those of the Pirs Ginans while preaching, it will give me great joy."

"The Jamats from the Indian Subcontinent have, what you call a Ginan, the Jamats in Iran or Afghanistan may have, what you call a Qasida."

"It will have a great impact if the meanings of the Ginan, Quran, Mathnawi (Rumi’s Poems), etc. are explained in an integrated way.
Similar meanings should be derived from the Quran, Ginans, Mathnawi, and other texts.
The meanings in the Mathnawi are similar to the teachings of Pir Sadardin, though it is in Persian; therefore, one should learn and understand its meaning."

Mawla has placed the knowledge of Persian works such as Ginans, the Masnavi, and the sciences of Nāsir Khusraw in the category of Ginans. And Mawla has strongly recommended studying them in order to learn their inner meanings.
Mowla Says :-
"Those of you who are interested in history, read up upon the dais of our history ! There is much to learn - the way the Jamat practised centuries ago. There is much to learn. It is a source of knowledge, it is a source of understanding of our tradition. So if you have the time and you are interested, read up on the history of the dais of our Jamat around the world. And I think you will find inspiration, you will find ideas that are worth keeping alive today. So this historic continuity is a part of our faith, to which I attach the greatest importance."

Nasir Khusraw has explained the four ranks as follows:
1) Universal Intellect (Aql-e-kul)
2) Universal Soul ( Nafs-e-kul)
3) Natiq
4) Asas
The Pirs have explained the same four ranks in Ginans as follows:
1) Nirakar
2) Nirinjan
3) Sat-Shabd
4) Ruhani Ilm
The Imam, in His farmans has also explained the same four ranks as :
1) Annihilation in God (Fanna fi Allah)
2) Spiritual freedom (Azadi)
3) Ibadat (Zikr-jaap)
4) Farman (Ruhani Ilm - ilme Tawil)
And in this way, by understanding the four stages, one should compare the Farmans, Ginans, Nasir Khusraw’s works, and the Masnavi, and derive the same inner meaning from each.
Allah, Muhammad and Ali (all the three) are ONE, and ONE ESSENCE. But, who sees them different, the DEFECT lies in their EYES. (Kalam -e-Pir).
Nasir Khusraw has explained the three worlds for better understanding.
1:-The Spiritual world
2:-The Material world
3:-The world of Religion
The Spiritual world has two ranks (hadd).
1) Universal Intellect (Aql-e-kul) (perfect)
2) Universal soul (Nafs-e-kul) (One Soul)
The Aql-e-kul and the Nafs-e-kul are absolutely a spiritual rank (Daraj-ja).
One must acknowledge the two spiritual principles (hadd) through knowledge and have the faith in them.
The mediation of the world of RELIGION is nessesary to purify the SOUL, so that it can be in SPIRITUAL world.
The World of religion has two ranks :
1) Natiq (Sat Shabd).
2) Asas - Foundation (Ruhani Ilm-ilme Tawil).
These two ranks are to be implemented: Natiq, through Concentration, And Asas, through Contemplation.
The Asas explains the esoteric faith (Tawil) - by which one can understand the rank (hadd) of Natiq.
Through the mediation of the Natiq, one may reach the Universal Soul.
All individual souls, having been born from One soul (Universal Soul - Nafs-e-kul), merge back into it and thereby attain freedom (Azadi).
Through the Universal Soul (Nafs-e-kul), the soul unites with the Universal Intellect (Aql-e-kul) that is “Be” “Kun”, The Word of God (shabd--Kalima) and attains its purpose.
For every Ismaili, it is possible to reach the Ultimate Goal with ease.
Imam says in the following Farman :-
"I am here to lead you along the easiest way to your destination."
